Installing the Agent to Multiple Computers

The CCleaner Cloud Agent can be distributed an installed to multiple endpoints easily. Once installed to the endpoint, it will automatically sync to your account ready to be managed.

You can distribute the installer in 3 ways:

  1. Email
  2. Group Policy
  3. Command Prompt / Batch

You can find more information on each of these methods below:

via Email

  1. Go to the Add Computer section in CCleaner Cloud.
  2. Choose Download an Installer Linked to Your Account.
  3. Set limits for the installer. 
  4. Press Download.
  5. Once complete, you can simply email the installer to your users and ask them to run it.
  6. After it has been installed, a notification will display in your My Computers section.

Note: You will need to confirm each install onto your account.

via Group Policy

  1. Go to the Add Computer section in CCleaner Cloud.
  2. Choose Download an Installer Linked to Your Account.
  3. Set limits for the installer. 
  4. Press Download and save to your distribution point.
  5. Once complete, create a Group Policy Object.
  6. Select the groups it will be sent to.
  7. Assign the Agent MSI package per-machine
  8. Deploy the MSI to the target groups
  9. Go back to the My Computers section.
  10. Confirm each install onto your account.

via Command Prompt / Batch

  1. Go to the Add Computer section in CCleaner Cloud.
  2. Choose Download an Installer Linked to Your Account.
  3. Set limits for the installer. 
  4. Press Download.
  5. Once the download is complete, you can create a script to run across your endpoints. 

    Here is an example of a simple batch file which can be run as Administrator:
    pause 
    start /wait msiexec /i "C:\Installers\agent_installer.msi" /q
    pause
  6. Go back to the My Computers section.
  7. Confirm each install onto your account.
